Ewan McGregor has announced on Watch Scandal Sin in the City (2001)Twitter he is boycotting Good Morning Britainafter its host, Piers Morgan, called people attending the Women's Marches last Saturday "rabid feminists."

The actor, who stars in the sequel of Trainspotting (T2), said: "Was going on Good Morning Britain, didn't realise @piersmorgan was host. Won't go on with him after his comments about #WomensMarch."

Morgan replied: "Sorry to hear that @mcgregor_ewan - you should be big enough to allow people different political opinions. You're just an actor after all."

The TV presenter angered many people on Twitter after saying he's decided to organise a "Men's March" to protest "the creeping global emasculation" of his gender.

His inflammatory remark was shut down by his co-host on Good Morning Britain, Susanna Reid.
