Robin Li, chief executive of Baidu, said that he hopes entrepreneurs will create “hit apps” in the AI era using the company’s large model. On the same day, Baidu also announced 11 AI-native applications based on its ERNIE model and its model-as-a-service cloud platform Qianfan, including Chinese Word processor WPS AI, the country’s first generative AI app for the collaborative office sector.
